Took from the Top of Thu Thiem Tunnel in Sept. 2014 (other side of SG River)
Gorgeous reflective shot.
Thanks Linda....
I am one of your admirers from all of your pictures from SX50 camera...
I took several landscape lens to Saigon (17-40 f4, 16-35mm f4 IS (newest one), 24-70 f2.8). I ended up sold the 1st two to close friends in SG. And they also took my 580 EX II flash and CPL filter as well (sold to them).
They love camera equipments from U.S.
When I got home, I had to order 16-35mm, 580 flash and B+W CPL filter.
I brought 5D Mark III and 70-200 f2.8 II also (for taking portraits), the bad was kind of heavy on my shoulder most of the time.
Best regards

Wow! Hard to believe that is Saigon now. I was there 1969/1970. Just outside of Saigon. I would love to make a trip back to Vietnam to see how it has grown. Your photos are very good. I like the first one best. Have you more photos of Saigon you might post?
Hi Kibbles...
My brother-in-law was a Special Forces officer in Nam so I was really fond of the U.S. troops over there when I grew up.
Will post some more VN pictures for you and the UHH gangs.
Best regards

It really looks different than when I was there in 1968. I was at the Rice Mill in Cholon, then other places during the year. I loved Saigon and Chlon after it settled down after TET. I would love to visit again.
