Lowes now sells the entire Craftsman line, but I have heard some bad reports as to how robust their tools are now (made in China?). Most of my Craftsman handtools are at least 40 years old and very solid, but I recently replenished my screwdriver assortment (where do they go?) with a set of Craftsmans from Lowe’s. If they don’t pan out, there’s always old reliable Snap Ons. And I never buy anything from Craftsman with a cord on it.
Yea, used to be able to get all kinds of repair pieces parts. Not anymore.
