The first shot of Jupiter was taken around 10:30PM (July 12th 2019). The second one was taken around 12:30AM (July 13 2019) 2 hours later. Note how the moons have moved and the red spot has rotated into view. The moon closer to the planet in the first image is Io, in the second picture the moon closer to the planet is Europa. Both of these shots where made by stacking frames from 4K video taken though a 11" Schmitt Cassegrain telescope.

Fantastic shots!

Another “WOW!” here - and edumacational as well - I can’t believe Jupiter rotates so quickly that the spot swung into view in only a couple of hours!

Even though Jupiter is almost 11 times the Earths diameter it's rotation period is 9.8 hrs. Its equatorial velocity is 12.6 Km/s vs .47 Km/s for Earth, that's hauling.

Beautiful images, well done.

Yep is spinning so fast that you can see that it isn't perfectly round and actually bulges in the middle. Take a ruler to the image and you can actually see that it is around 6% wider at the equator than between the poles. Saturn bulges slightly more but the rings currently make it harder to take the measurement between the poles. (see https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-600633-1.html)
