So neither you nor the owner knows what the car is? Thats some "favorite" I guess.

Why the "snarky" reply? Is this the attitude you took with your customers when you were a general contractor or now in your camera store? If I were new to photography, I don't think that I would want to go to your store to have my ignorance pointed out to me.

Well it's been fun thinking about the 1960s, but if people can't be civil, it's time to unwatch this topic.
Ta ta for now.

My favorite from that era (and my first car) was a white ‘65 Pontiac Tempest with nearly identical headlight cowlings to that posted by Rob48 and *genuine* turquoise vinyl upholstery. Of course I ‘pimped it out’ with a Muntz 8-track deck and a leather steering wheel cover.😎

I think we have established that fact several pages ago. Thanks for bringing it up again.

Ours was maroon in color, and it was the fastest, most powerful car I ever drove. My Dad and I LOVED that car. After my Dad dragged-raced a guy on a Harley down Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn with the family in the car, my Mom posted it for sale in the paper. When a young couple came up to the house to buy the car after I polished it to an incredible shine......I was sad for a week. MY Dad told me if he had that car when he was young, none of us four would have been born! God, I loved that car!!!

The "Gutless Tempest Option" came out in 1964. Mine was a 1965. That front end is the '64/'65 body all the way back to the sharp top edge on the rear fenders. Nobody who would mistake that body posted would every qualify as knowledgable on "muscle cars". Major Faux Pas. Furthermore the slight reference to the
"Judge" would not even be close to this body style. Here Come De Judge was a huge joke in it's rendition of the GTO.
