Thanks for the comment boncrayon ... you may be right however I seem to recall the ranger said the round structures at the front of the buildings were Kivas which were used for religious ceremonies. But that's only as good as my memory, which isn't always correct. You are absolutely correct about them gathering water off the cliffs ... I remember hearing the 1st time I visited, that the stone is porous, so they would capture water as it seeped through the rock. Ingenious. Thanks for taking the time to view & comment.
