Let's all become pirates and search for our treasure...Let's take something that is old and familiar and make it new....find 3 to 6 (or more) items around your house, in the basement, attic, junk drawer, closet etc. and shoot it to make it look like a treasure-whether with unique lighting, different angle or perspective, or change the background. Take a lemon and make some lemonade! Let's see what our cameras and our skills can do!
I went on a search and found some old forgotten items, throughout the week I will post each item after turning it into a treasure!
Good thinking,Gal! I'll give some thought on this and get back...
Thanks for hosting...greatly appreciated by all!

I hope it is as much fun as I first thought...some of these items have brought back some old memories as I came across them...
Now the challenge of turning them from just stuff into something creative is, well, going to be the challenge!
Hope to learn some post techniques and have some fun!

Beware upon your search...triggered a lot of memories when searching in those hidden spots...also found a few other things I've been looking for!
ok, first item...an old calculator that was just laying around in a drawer....memories of school and studying late....
Nothing really great...just playing with composition, filters and dof….hope to have more time for next item....
This sounds like fun, since I am cleaning out my basement right now...if I can only figure out how to download a picture...I think my anti ad stuff is doing something, I just can't figure it out yet.
now tried, emphasize tried, to combine two into one in post...think I'm getting it just have to work on getting each layer where I want it before combining but ran out of time today...may try "masking" with tomorrow's object....

Try clicking onto "quote reply" on any post, you'll then see a large white reply box, scroll down below the reply box and you will see a browse box click on it, this will open the files in your computer, choose one photo you want to post, click the store original and then the add attachment box and wait (sometimes take a little bit before it loads) you will know your pic is loaded because it will appear....then scroll back down to below the reply box and either add more pics by repeating browse etc or click send...
