I am thinking about the 80d, I have the T3i, I want to upgrade, I got the T7i, and don't like it. I am sending it back, but was now thinking of the 80d, are the pics nice and sharp? I use Sigma lens 24-70 and sigma 150-500. I shoot a little of everything, wildlife, portraits, landscapes. Thanks

Spend the extra money on the t7i. The tilt-swivel touchscreen alone is worth the extra expense. In addition you will get Bluetooth, on-sensor phase detect, and more accurate focus selection of moving subjects.

In the U.S., the price difference is only about $170. Unless your price difference is $300 or more, get the better camera.

Where did you find the trade in deal that gets the t7i for $170 more. Remember the OP already owns the t7.

There is something that in my humble opinion you need to understand. Selecting a camera is a very personal decision based on how it feels in your hands, how it operates in favor of what you do and when its ergonomics just fit your personal style.

Upgrading usually happens when the present camera is not doing the job, like not a good AF for wildlife photography or when the shooting sequence it is capable of is not enough for our needs. None of my cameras, to give you an example, are new but they give me the service I expect and need from them and it is more than obvious to me that a new, fancy camera will not make me better or fulfill the needs that these old bodies do.

If your camera is not doing what you need from it and I am not including here quality images that depend on you more than they depend on the camera, save your money for a good lens and keep your present camera.

BTW, this site is the poster child for horrific spelling and grammar.

What is your budget?
If you have money get a 5D M iv or the R.
Easy for a beginner and you will likely never outgrow them

All cameras are beginner cameras. It all depends on your budget.

YEP there is a lot to truth in that.....

Bad punctuation, like poor use of the "quote reply" is just needlessly confusing. But if confused is how you wish to lead your life, who am I to stop you.

A bit of a difference between: Eats, Shoots, and Leaves and Eats Shoots and Leaves
One is a real bad dinner guest. The other is a giant Panda.

So you have no question as to what the poster meant?
I can insert punctuation in different places in some comments and come up with multiple thoughts.
Which is the intended thought/comment?

I don't know if it was the punctuation but I did misunderstand the OP. I thought he is in the process of buying either the T7 or T7i.

Could also be taken as "...the canon t7i I have..."
So which one does he has?{sic}

Punctuation is indeed very important.

My three favorite things are eating my family and avoiding commas.
