Each of these is a beautiful shot in its own right! The story is different in each as well.

Thank you, Carol.

Hi Greymule,
Virga and the sunlight provides always great opportunities for photographers.
(Although we all wish for at least some rain from it, right?)

As a matter of preference, I would select number 5, would level the image about 1degree clockwise and crop about 1.5" from the top.
A good shot, thanks for sharing!
It will bring the attention to the colorful part, the lake and the dark landscape bellow.

Thanks for the tips!

Rain is always welcome, though this spring has been munificent.

This is series of images I captured when I saw a virga forming. Couldn't get to a spot quickly enough, then I saw the lake.

Wonderful images. I’ve seen this before, but had no idea what it was called. Thank you for the pics and for the education.

I instantly recognized that your photos were stunning and dramatic, but I had no idea what a virga is. Now that I've looked it up, your photos are still more powerful than the examples that were shown. Great job.

I like all of them.
I think the first one would benefit from some cropping.
If it was me I would crop out some of the foreground and turn it into more of a "pano" look.
But really nice pics all around.

greymule, I am sorry, but I would be no help in picking an image because from what I have seen all of your images are exceptional and I love all of them and wish just once I could approach an images that looks like yours. I do havea problem though. It's early for me and I haven't had my first cup of coffee yet this morning. I thought this would be a really interesting post and image, because at first glance I thought the title of your post said, "Storm Clouds, Sunset and Viagra with Lake Reflection". I really wondered about the lake reflection! My bad! Love your photographic work.
