Thanks for the research information, good to know. Not sure it gives me great confidence to want to venture out into the North Sea or the Atlantic. Although while on active duty in the Navy I did cross from Gibraltor to Charleston, SC in a storm on an ocean going minesweeper. 176 feet long made of wood, but I had 4 big Packard engines to drive it along.
