I’ve had no issues with Fed-x much faster delivery than USPS or UPS.

A few years ago Fedex was the gold standard for delivery. I had a project
every year where we send out 500 disposable camera's with Fedex and would
get the employees pictures back for their National Sale Meeting use.
Don't remember Fedex failing in this project.
I think today their are so many packages that Fedex is having problems.
Valuable deliveries are important. UPS is huge but seems to be doing
a good job.

I get items every week by UPS USPS and FedEx and no problems with any. I do have one today that computer says it was delivered yesterday but tracking shows it's delivery center. I'm retired and in no hurry. I do have a problem of long standing with USPS and my Wall Street Journal. For a few weeks it's spot on then it'll be from one day to seven days before it shows up. USPS says it's not their fault, and WSJ says it's not them. So I send a message to WSJ and they credit me for missed shipment. Week old news is no longer news.

I have had similar service from UPS, such as delivery to incorrect address one mile away, lawn mower dropped and damaged, Steam cleaner sold by my spouse on Ebay was damaged during delivery, altho UPS charged her more than $100 to pack and ship it from NC to CA.

I use USPS 90% of the time. In a rural area. Never had a problem with them. It may be in the evening before receiving a package but it has been there the day promised.

I ordered the Canon 17-40 f4 because it was on sale from $800 to $500 at BnH. Received a text that it had been delivered yesterday, but I was at home and so I knew it wasn't. Called BnH and Fedex and reported it. About an hour later the driver comes to the house with the package.

Last month it was something else they dropped off at a wrong address. But don't remember what.

A couple of years ago they delivered an Apple MacBook Pro to an address in another town.

I think I am done with them.

Anyone else having issues with them?

A couple of years ago I ordered an iPad from B&H back when they used UPS. UPS did a similar thing with my iPad. They said the delivery date was Wednesday and when that day came the tracking said it was still in PA. I called B&H right away to see what was going on. They said they were on it and that they would call me back. The next day they called me back and said it appears that the order has been lost and that they would reorder it and resend it. They did what they said and about 2 days later I got and email with a new order number, they refunded my visa, re-charged my visa, and sent the whole order again. UPS delivered it and a day later I get a call from UPS asking if I received my order. I told them yes, I got the replacement order but have never seen the original order. They were going to look into it. Bottom line is they lost it. About 2 weeks later B&H stopped using UPS and started using FedX. I think they are about the same and no matter who they use, there's going to be some screwups. It's just part of the business.

It is difficult for a UPS driver to leave items at the wrong address at least here in the sacramento area. If the driver scans an item for delevery and the GPS does not indicate the correct address, the driver cannot complete the scan. I have walked up to the truck and had the driver scan the wrong package and they get an error on their unit. He then found the correct package and completed the scan correctly. Seems like a fairly fool proof method.

Seems to differ by where you live. For me UPS has been a F***-Up on mis-delivery. The USPS, FedEx, and DLH are OK. Amazon Prime is usually fine but even they mess up at times.

What has PO'd me is ordering something from Dell via COSTCO and Dell not informing me that they have shipped my purchase and then coming home and finding a huge computer box on my porch when I otherwise would have stayed home and waited for it. Talk about too fast service, I order it by phone and web from Costco. They say it will come in about three weeks and that Dell Computers would notify me first. The computer tower shows up with in four days with no notice!

When I ordered my Nikon D3300 and two lenses, I too was tracking the package. Info said package was delivered and left on front porch. When I got home after work it was no where to be seen. I live in a very rural area and GPS is very inaccurate where I am. My package ended up at a neighbors house. I have had several other packages delivered by FedEx and show up at the same neighbors house. The last (and it was the last!!!) time, I actually stopped the driver from delivering to the wrong address. I explained to him that my house number is clearly displayed on our mailbox post and house. When he tried to say he was going by what his GPS said, I quickly informed him it doesn’t work in our area. (Even google maps is wrong🙄) I haven’t had a problem (yet) since.

My personal experience has been that FedEx ground is pretty worthless while the express division is still good. Years ago, FedEx purchased DHL (an exceptionally BAD carrier) and created FedEx Ground which continues to be pretty useless. I, too, experienced issues with packages from B&H since they changed from UPS to Fedex. Two or three, or even four, day delivery (UPS was always one day). Busted packages, etc. etc.. I personally complained to B&H to no avail so I started buying from other sources that use UPS and can get items to me the next day. Given the size of B&H, and how much they ship, I completely understand that it's a decision based upon cost for them. My decision, to changes sources whenever reasonable, is based upon lowering my level of frustration. Best of luck.

I think Fed Ex has started sub-contracting deliveries in some areas to individual contractors. Some of the delivery issues may be related to work of the sub-contractors.

same, caught the fedex guy smoking while delivering packages contacted fedex directly and asked is this right? about 1 year ago, we ordered a new computer again said it was delivered and i was waiting all day for it. turns out the driver had delivered it to another house where as they started to open and remove parts from the computer swapping parts. the fedex guy then delivered a mangled open box and asked us to sign off on it.. I'm like you can't be serous. Even when you say you're done with them, if you order from someone, they use whatever's cheapest. so order form companies that give you and option on what delivery service can be used. This is why I've been ordering amazon products lately cause I've been successful with having items delivered to the amazonlocker.

If you complained about me doing something as simple as smoking a cigarette I'd lose your package too.

Speaking of having packages been delivered on time. I've been tracking an order placed with new balance which is suppose to have been delivered 2 days ago. UPS claims they can't find our location. So they've just handed the new shoes off to our USPS and should be delivered today, 2 days late. I've also been told that my wife's order from last Feb was just shipped by none other than Fedex.. I fear this order will not be delivered on time or at the correct address. I've contacted Fedex & shopNFL just to let them know I'm watching/tracking this order. Then I was just informed that my amazonlocker isn't going to be 24 hours at the closest location so now I have to locate another amazonlocker that is open 24/7..

FYI: Smoking a cigarette while on the clock is not permitted by a fed-ex employee according to Fedex corp. Then there's the fact that some fedex or delivery service that as plum lazy throwing boxes on the porch marked "fragile". I miss our old UPS driver who retired last year. when he knew we had large packages, he knew to delver them to the back alley because it's hard to get up the front steps. he retired last year and the new UPS guys need to have learn from him..
