Try this site. http://www.camerashuttercount.com/

Works great for me. It works on Nikons, don't know about Cannon.

B&H Photo, Adorama and KEH are also excellent choices with good prices and outstanding service (a must for an online site).

I second Adorama, B&H and KEH, also Calumet and Abe's of Maine

What would be the best places to go online to look for a camera body? I am not opposed to refurbished if it is from a reputable business. I'm thinking a Canon 60D. I don't need the lenses.

B&H, no question, B&H

Ok, I have a dumb question here, probably pretty obvious to most, but............are the batteries and cables the same on a 50D and 60D?

The On line retailer sites I use are Adorama, B&H, Amazon (depending on the seller)
KEH for used equipment.
If you wish to check the rating on on-line or Internet retailers here is a link to a helpful website
http://www.resellerratings.com/
If I need an item quickly I may use Amazon for overnight or next day shipping.
