People aren't stupid Chris. There is video of Democratic politicians telling the world that illegal aliens should not be crossing our border, that they take away jobs from Americans, put a burden on our finances, medical systems, education and so on. This was said by both Clintons, Obama, and a few Senators and Congressmen and women. Yet when Trump says the very same words he is classed a racist. Funny how that works isn't it. That is just the illegal immigration part of what is going on.

Why is it that you don't see the previous videos of Democrats and then ask yourself, Hey, why are they picking on Trump for saying the very same thing. Better to keep the lying Democratic agenda going, huh?

I did not say that the information was not out there, but you do understand don't you that when you talk about conservative media, just about the only media with the exception of a few liberal outlets like the intercept that are willing to print or report on the other side of the stories that breaks with the liberal interpretation of events... The you have the mid day and late night entertainment programming that has an obvious liberal bias. Do you really believe that this programing has no influence on public opinion?

Fox may lead the cable news in viewership, but their viewership is only a fraction of the likes of ABC, NBC, or CBS, and then in print we have what have been considered the gold standards of years gone past, NYT and WaPo, none are particularly unbiased anymore....

I would think this something that you would already understand, and as I have found you to be honest in the past your question does surprise me a bit.

Thank goodness for alternative media! I think the truth is that there are hundreds of more media outlets than there used to be, and if you actually want to find out the truth, you can find it today. You just have to weed through most of the "fake news' to find it. And the vast majority of "fake news" is coming from the liberal news sources. The trouble is that many people only seek out the media that confirms the false narrative that they already believe in, instead of seeking out the truth.

As a Conservative, I am thrilled that we now have a significant voice in news sources. In the old days, someone like Hillary would have gotten a free pass and become President because the news people would have kept secret all her nefarious dealings. This is what happened with John Kennedy. The guy was smuggling prostitutes into the White House to have sex with for Christ's sake! The news people all knew but successfully kept the public from knowing it for decades.

I do have to plead guilty to the fact that I don't watch ABC, CBS or NBC.....or any television.

I don't own a television....never have.

I do confess that I get the majority of my news from NPR.
They lean heavily to the left but I've heard some conservatives interviewed as well.

I understand, I think that Fox's opinion and entertainment shows without a doubt lean heavily to the right, there can be no question, but one thing that Fox does better than even the national networks is separate their hard news division from opinion and entertainment programing. I find their hard news to be far superior and less biased than any of the other networks, but even their hard news makes decisions on what will be covered which has from time to time given an indication a bit of bias.

If Trump is walking around with a wart on his face they will report it, they also will report on his successes where other networks will either not report on them or attempt to spin them in a negative light. What is missing from Fox is reporting on the president and the republican party in the worst light possible, that is why the network seems to be so hated by the left.
