Before I go any further- fellow UHHer, Rufe, lives in and works around Jefferson City, MO, which was hit by a tornado last night. Talked w Rufe today. Their home is unscathed - but ones on either side experienced some damage. He said it was the worst tornado the area has ever seen and damage is quite widespread - roofs ripped off, cars thrown around. He said he and his family were very fortunate. There are many places through which one cannot drive. I was wondering about him when my phone rang and it was, Rufe.

Thank you for this update Pat. My thoughts also went to Rufe when I heard of the tornado in Jefferson City. So thankful he and family are good. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of this horrible storm.

You all know by now that I love flowers, and leaves and
berries...well, capturing images of them, anyway...and they
can provide some stunning textures as well...hope you enjoy.

enjoyed this series Tim. I like the softness to #2 and the palm fronds

Pg 10 - Excellent examples, Nancy, and congrats on having
such a good "eye." All of these are really good, but the first
and the last ones really stand out for me....nicely done.
Tim

Thank you Tim for your kind comment, I really appreciate it!

Pg 10 - Another good series, Nancy. What is that
last image?

I love the texture and the subdued yet effervescent
colors...I bet Simon could have a field day with that one.
Tim

Thanks again Tim. The last one is a cropped pic of metal art (sardines), the flash was just ruining the shot so I just cropped. I thought it showed the texture in a much better way and I bet your right about Simon!

Here are some "textures" we captured on our visit
to Colonial Williamsburg. I think the only ones I've
shared before are the unusual Christmas wreath and
the world's gnarliest tree.

another nice series Tim, like #2 & 3, something about painted wood!
