This challenge is all about finding and photographing texture(s) In an article by David Peterson titles Visual Design:Using Texture in Photography, he states "Texture is: 1) an essential visual design element in photography 2) adds drama to an image and 3) brings a 3rd dimension to a 2 dimension medium. The article discusses the capture and use texture as well as using lines to enhance texture" The full article with examples is here: REMOVE the "*" from the URL when you copy it to your browser.

I have seen lots of texture in recent posts. Let's see some more! Interestingly, if you use Lightroom Classic, the most recent update included a "texture" slider which enhances image texture. I've had some fun with that.

This was from last 4th of July - we drove past the house today and it was in the process of getting a fresh coat of paint - all that lovely texture is covered up!

One of the reasons I love photographing dying or dead flowers is for the texture also the pastel colors

If you double download you will see exactly what I mean

There are so many what I would call, ''historical textures'' made by time. See the windows there? Two textures below them caused by décades and decades of rain, melting snow.
