Not sure about the conversion, Bill … sounds small, but the sensor in a bridge is REALLY TINY - you know?
And, my first dig cam was/is a bridge - the Fuji Finepix H10 - which even uses 4 AAs !!!!!
But, I didn't know, back then - or CARE!!! … as far as I was concerned, it took AMAZING pictures …
Plus it had/has a 30x zoom (24-720) and TWO different MACRO MODES!!! … Ever since I started using this site - everyone has made me feel like an ass for wasting my money on ANY bridge .. so .. the beat goes on!

I've had one, no two, actually three cameras with those minute sensors back in the dark ages of photography BUT after tasting the delights of larger sensors, never again! I've even tried photography, if you can even call it that, with the barely visible sensor in a smart phone. I am so ashamed of that moment of weakness...

I'll match that and raise you one with a 180 Mak scope; 2,700mm, f/15. I touch heavy to handhold and a bit slow at f/15 but...
But for now I'll just stick with my RX10 III & IV out to 600mm; probably all I can really handle handheld anyway!?
