Remember when film & processing could eat up hundreds of dollars per month?
Remember when Adobe Creative Suite cost almost $2,500 and we'd update every now and then for only $1,600?

There are few hobbies where we don't pay. There are few costs that have not risen overtime time.
Sure use a "free" solution and take pictures with a film camera. Time and costs march on. Grow up and face the facts.

Adobe is to expensive for me... I am busy learning Gimp and Scribus… the 650 a year to do what I always did with updating programs I bought and used since Page Maker came out... just too pricey when I can do the same thing with these other programs. I do volunteer work and have a fixed income... Adobe doesn't care about the little people anymore...and we were the one's who made it popular over Quarlxpress…

Adobe is apparently doing some market testing with the LR/PS subscription. I suspect that different prospects may see different offerings based on some demographics. The fact that I can see the 9.99/mo option (on view all plans) does not mean that everyone will see it. The fact that you cannot see the 9.99/mo option does not mean that no one will see it.
