Good. I use it for screen captures all the time. Is there another way of doing that? Where else can you "paste" your "screen" or "copy"?

No program needed for screen capture. Just hit the windows key with the print screen button.
You'll find your PNG file in the pictures folder.

The little utility I mentioned (Lightshot) allows you to crop a portion of the screen, annotate it with text, add arrows, highlight, save to file or clipboard, print, share on social media, and search for similar photos via Google.

I still use it for screen captures and for writing captions on pictures before sending them to others. I believe that Paint 3D has the same capabilities and more, though it isn't as easy to use.

Does not seem to work (like that) for me. Is it placing the *.png in an unknown sub-folder with in my Pictures Folder?
You should be using MS's Snipping Tool. You will never use anything again.
I use it for printing big multi-page prints because it is so easy, and I don't know another way to do that.
I guess Paint can be used for all sorts of things other than screen capture and maybe that is best for you anyway.
I usually use the Snipping Tool when I want to grab all or part of the screen to embed in other documents eg if I want to grab a bit of a screen to place in a Word doco for later reference. I have only used it within Word but suspect it will work in other MS programs.
Run the Snipping program found under Windows Accessories, select New, use the + to highlight the area of the screen you want then select the 2 small pages icon (just to the right of the little floppy disk icon) and right click/paste into whatever document you have open. There are heaps of things you can do with the Tool and nothing to lose by experimenting. Took me years to find the Snipping Tool and now I don't need anything else. You can't damage anything by playing with it although obviously you should practice a bit before using it live.

Mine saves as a .jpg in SCREENSHOTS folder in OneDrive
If you are using a Mac...it is as simple as holding down the Shift key, Command key and the number 3 key to capture the screen print. It will save the file as an icon on your screen.
Just tried the snipping tool - works perfect. Great tip.
Thanks

Really? Mine was in the taskbar on every machine I have purchased!
