Nice one!
I have a question. Is there a preferred location for the cab on the locomotive at the front? This one has the cab in front which would seem to provide better visibility. However I have seen many trains where the cab is in the back the engineer has to look around the locomotive in front of him.
Locomotives can be run in either direction with equal ease so what is the front on one movement can be the rear for the next. This pair were hooked back to back so no matter which direction it was going the cab would be at the front. The crew could operate from either one but for most anything other then a short move would most likely move to the "front" one. Years ago yard switchers and electrics with the cab in the middle were not uncommon.
