Thank You! Just wish I could get those rail crews to shine them up a bit! How hard could it be to detail a locomotive?

Nice shot LFingar..
Down here in my area I dont they are too worried about shining them up, around my are I think the biggest concern is keeping them on the tracks...In the last five years or so they probably have crashed about 5 or 6 of them.

Despite my love for trains, I never bother to shoot CSX -- boring design/color scheme & rarely clean & never shiny.

Gotta shoot what's available. At Hudson that's CSX and Amtrac. Compared to Amtrac CSX is shiny and exciting.

"Gotta shoot what's available" -- I understand, but when I lived in that area (more than 12 years ago) I found CP Rail and Central Vermont much more interesting.

In Saratoga, yes, but in Hudson CSX road switchers and Amtrac are about all that's available. Actually, I go to the river to shoot ships and tugs plus whatever trains may be available. Usually it's only Amtrac , which I don't find very appealing.
