Looking for a used shoulder bag for trip to Western China Karakoram Highway to Pakistan. Small yet big enough to hold 5DMiii Body with 24-105 attached, a 16-25 and 70-200, 1 spare battery and lens cleaner. Other stuff left in luggage. Minimum interior would be 11x13x5 (LxHxD) I usually use beat up discreet backpack but do not want to take it off constantly and dig. Would place long lens horizontally and then stack other lens and camera on top. Or a 13x10x5 for side by side. Don't want really wide or deep, just big enough for the job. I have big bags that hold multiple gear but they are just that, big and obvious, not good in a crowd. Reasonable price and shipping. I can pay Credit card, PayPal or snail mail check. I live Nevada side Lake Tahoe so if you are close we can arrange things. Thank You.

Was this reposted from earlier? I seem to recall seeing it before. Good luck with your search.
Look for bags in an Army/Navy Surplus store or Goodwill.

No, not exactly repeposted. I did post a similar post in general photography looking for advice on what bag may be out there that fits my requirements. Also a suggestion/request if someone out there may have one they wanted to get rid of. Then after randomly browsing all the different categories in UHH I found this one so I thought I would post an actual "Wanted" post in the correct category. Hope I did not break any rules.

Buy Domke F2 bag; it looks exactly like what you are asking for. Yet, it is one of the best and practical bags in the market.

I have a pair of Canon 200DG's. I could let one go cheaply. You can remove the logo if you're concerned about broadcasting the contents, though it would still look as much like a camera bag as a generic.

Thanks, I tried out a friends of mine and it was still sort of an awkward fit length vs height and depth . I will keep it in mind though. Perhaps I am in search of something that doesn't exist.

Look at tool bags and even diaper bags if you’re worried about security. Not something I generally worry about, but then again, I’ve never travelled to that region.

“Not a camera bag” would be my first priority.

Think Tank Retrospective - comes in several sizes, and they are very plain looking and tough as nails. I have two: the Retro 20 will accommodate my 5D IV with 100 - 400 attached, plus 2 more lenses and smaller stuff. Retro 7 will handle same gear with 24-105 attached and 100 - 400 detached. The original version models are the same dimensions as the current V 2.0 so you can check sizes on TT's web site and then search for a used V 1. Here's one on ebay:

Also check used bags on Adorama (I got my Retro 20 there) and B&H as well as keh.com.

Good luck!

A reputable mail order firm called Sportsman's Guide sells used military bags etc., I've gotten a variety of items from them over the years only disappointed once, my own fault for not reading.

Get a new over-the-shoulder bag you think will serve your needs then make it look used and worn so it doesn't look new. One way to do so is to drag it behind a pickup or ??? (empty, of course) through a dirt field. Wash and repeat as needed to "age" the appearance of the bag. Take care & ...

He wants a beat-up bag that does not scream, "steal me."

Some diaper bags might work! Few steal them. Hang an empty plastic baby bottle on the outside!

Got a pair of old Domke bags, faded-but-sturdy brown. One is a 15-incher, other slightly smaller. Both worn, but fully functional. Let me know if you're still interested and I'll send pix.
