My wife and I recently got home from a "Big Cats" photographers safari in the Maasai Mara, Kenya. Some excellent sightings, but completely different from the "Great Migration" safari we did in September, 2017. Camera was a Canon Eos R mirrorless, with a Canon EF 100-400 4.5-5.6 L IS II.

Excellent set of images.

Magnificent captures, Arcadia! Fantastic subjects, good comp and pleasing lighting, perfect focus. I love the silhouettes.

Excellent Safari photos! Viewing these makes we want to go back to Kenya, which I may have the opportunity to do next year.

Here is what "Google" has to say on the subject of spotted lions: Their coat changes to the more tawny color typical of adults at about three months and the white spots gradually fade with age, although in some lions the spots remain on their stomachs for their entire life.

Thank you.

Nice. You had to spend some time on the sunset shots and unusual to see ostrich and antelope in one photo. The lion #1 and Cape Buffalo are oldsters.
