Looking for a 35mm film camera

I'm looking for an older 35mm slr film camera in excellent condition - refurbished or used. E.g., in the style of Canon AE-1 program, etc.
I have searched online and found several on ebay and a couple of other places, but none on B&H or Adorama. None have turned up locally yet. Does anyone have one? I guess I can always get one on Ebay and return it if not satisfied.

I second the KEH suggestion. The equipment I’ve purchased there has always been better than what the rateing described. Never returned anything but the consensus is that they make it trouble free. Be sure that whatever you buy has currently available batteries. Some are out of production.

There was a member that had an AE-1 and several lenses for sale here within the last month - will try to find a link to the thread and post it. If you have a choice, there are a couple of advantages to the AE-1P (program) over the AE-1.

I have a Canon EOS 620 film camera in very nice (almost mint) condition. Let me know if you would be interested and I can PM more details to you.

I don't have anything on eBay, but have been selling film gear on eBay for over 20 years. On eBay look for:
1) History
2) Positive feed back numbering 100 items or more
3) NO negative feed back or at least 99.5 % positive.
For instance I have history on my current account from 2003 (had accounts before that)
655 items @ 100% positive on the current account.
This is all viewable historical data on registered users (sellers and buyers).
eBay has been in business since the mid 90's.

I do have a Minolta and numerous lenses.
EBay returns are if the product doesn't work not because you didn't like the look etc.
I'll get the model of the Minolta. I also have a B&W Kodak 1930 or so.

Try Robert's Camera / Used Photo Pro, Lots of film camera bodies cheap.

I have a Pentax PN3 with a Sigma 35-70mm lens and a 70-210mm lens. Got it from my son, but have no need for it. Would let you have it for $25 which would cover Priority Mail plus a couple bucks. Let me know if you'd like it. Can't beat the price. Looks to be in really nice shape. Son didn't use it very much at all.
