Help- where or how can I post approx 200 photos that the public can review and access
Have a 4-H Horse group that would like pictures of their event. I take lots for my own use but would like to make them available to the public for a short period of time, do not want to deal with 100 parents/grandparents looking for a specific child. Would be at no charge by me, ideally they could simply review and download the photo they want. If they were online for 48 hrs would be long enough.
I use Nikon Image Space but there are other similar sites that does that. Flicker is also one of them.
You can get a free Flickr account for up to 1000 photos. The free accounts do have advertising as part of the deal.
I am a paid subscriber and have 46,000 pictures hosted there. No advertising.
If you are a Adobe Lightroom subscriber, there is an concept called "Web Gallery" where you share a specific collection with a unique link. It can be managed from within either Lightroom (cloud) CC or Lightrom Classic (local disc) CC.
Sample:
https://adobe.ly/2ETIedP will take you to a dozen shots from taking my camera on a walk in the desert.
I would be happy to put up some suggestions on how to make it work.

While there a re a number of tech solutions, I would start with the 4-H group to see what they have available already.
Flickr is the free solution except for maybe a limit to how many pictures you can upload in a 24-hour day. A google search makes it seem like there's a total storage limit in size and count, but maybe not per day so you should be able to share all your images with no investment other than time.
Uploading that many photos at one time or over several months has become very hard these days, sites like Photobucket and flickr have imposed limited storage restrictions without paying. If one can pay, it would be best to use the dropbox but one could run into issues as to allow others to view these images. One would need to search or set up their own server or even a site like wordpress which stores these images and you can allow others to join the site or even participate. I've been up and down this road and have yet to find anything worthy of posting all of my images, so I've just kept them offline. You know what they say, a safe image is one that's not posted online.

Create a Facebook group?
I have found Facebook only offers thumbnails. I may be missing something but that is what I find.

Althogh it's a paid site, SmugMug is good. I pay $8 a month.
You can set up folders(albums) for public or private viewing, also purchase. Worth checking out.
Thanks to all who replied, I am now busy investigating, was great to have a start.
