You can get a free Flickr account for up to 1000 photos. The free accounts do have advertising as part of the deal.

I am a paid subscriber and have 46,000 pictures hosted there. No advertising.

Been using Smugmug for years. You can create folders and send links to people you want to be able to see your images.

I see that Smugmug does not upload Tiff Files or Raw Files. I was wondering if anybody knows a web site that would enable me to upload these file types.

Dropbox works well with this and you can upload the full original file. I did the exact same thing awhile back with our family reunion. Created a Folder on my Dropbox acct and uploaded a lot of photos from the reunion. I then emailed the private link to family members and they downloaded whatever they wanted.

If you are a Canon user, the "Canon Image Gateway" is free and works well to share photos.

Have a 4-H Horse group that would like pictures of their event. I take lots for my own use but would like to make them available to the public for a short period of time, do not want to deal with 100 parents/grandparents looking for a specific child. Would be at no charge by me, ideally they could simply review and download the photo they want. If they were online for 48 hrs would be long enough.

Just use flickr!

I use Google Photos. I make albums for groups of pictures, and I can let different groups see different albums. Very easy and convenient.

One that has not been mentioned yet is Amazon. If you have an Amazon Prime account Amazon Photos is free. Unlimited storage, will upload raw also. Google Photos also free no limit on the amount of images only a limit on the size of images that can be uploaded. I think the limit is 12 meg Jpg. But there is an option that will automatically compress the image to under 12. As far as Dropbox I believe they have a limit on free. The advantage of snapfish and smugmug free accounts is people viewing can order prints. If you own a Nikon Camera they give you 20 gigs of free storage on their Image Space for sharing. I believe canon has something similar.

Don’t use Facebook...they compress the images and the downloads will not stay true to size/resolution.

Also MSN's OneDrive is a free solution to making your photo's available. All you would need to do is email the interested parties a hyper-link. You upload time is reasonable.

I have used Shutterfly for that same purpose for 10+ years. It's free and friendly. I have 5 such sites. In the past, I also used SmugMug. As others noted, Dropbox also works well.

Yep. If you want viewers to be able to easily view and download images, Dropbox is the best.
