First, he didn't say he was "ditching" Lightroom. Second "three" is spelled t-h-r-e-e not t-r-e-e. Third, I don't care how many posts you've made, your responses were still rude attacks. You are among one of quite a few here that need to grow up.
This is one of the problems with this forum, there are quite a few people that don't really want to help anyone, they just want to promote their pet progams or show off their so-called"skill" at fixing problem photos.

As for me I will take ftpecktim's reputation against your's anytime. My goodness 6 posts since you joined and a maximum of 7 comments from posters, and some of the seven comments were yours. Another perfect example of the "warm and friendly" atmosphere here. Being called a "sniveling poster" for pointing out that only 2 of us answered the actual question asked doesn't really say much for the rude outbursts that followed.
You forgot to mention the 431 other posts I've replied to with answers, helpful comments, suggestions, or photos as examples. And lets not forget that I responded to the question that was actually asked in this post with the answer to the question, along with a suggestion to invest in Photoshop Elements. Tolerance for people who break the codes of good manners are viwed with distain. If there are any spelling or grammatical mistakes they are deliberate to make you feel at home!

If so, I was not sent packing, I only stayed out of the fray because the debate has become so uncivil and irrational as to not deserve anyone's further attention. So why am I back? To point out that Carnegie's book probably never advised calling anyone an idiot and then hoping to be an influence.

Thank you for the message. AS a kid I was skinny and ugly (still am, Ugly that is but not so skinny anymore) I always hated to be picked on and now I dislike people who pick on really good people like our friend. I am sometimes intolerant as I was today but I know Tim will not respond in a nasty way, so I reached out and said it for him.
Thanks again, and when I can learn how to use this camera, I hope to be able to make some photographs worthy of posting on Ugly. Incidentley, your name was on the list he made for me to watch and follow as examples of good solid photographers.
