I am thinking of printing one of two images in a larger size than usual for me (20 X 30) and would like comments/critique on these two please. Thanks again, too, for all the help I have received from UHH'ers on these and other questions in the past!

I would pick the second one there is more going on . The first one is very common there all over the place . And it needs work . To dark in some aera's for one.
I would certainly enjoy either one of them in my home! With #1, I'd worry that placing it in a frame is going to put the sun awfully close to the edge of the picture. Are you considering mood and decor colors of the location you intend to hang them? #2 would be more soothing and relaxing.
I agree with Linda #2 is soothing and relaxing.
Thanks Bram and Linda...Linda, tentatively, the print will go in our bedroom so in that respect would agree with you on #2. However, I do really enjoy the sense of drama created by the high contrast of the first.

I go with 1. I love the drama and Intensaty it offers. I have one close to this, but of the mountains in dark reds. Love it.
Thanks Skeezit...I have had comments about it and did an exposure adjustment in Ps just to see the result. I'll post it here as well...
Both shot's are suitable for enlargements in my opinion. BTW...is that Sunset Beach in New Joisey?

Much better never even seen the shore bird in last one .
cj...it's North Carolina...shoreline in that area runs east/west.
I like them both but I think the bird in no. 2 would be better out of the shot, it sort of deflects you from the whole image.
Different eye, guess that is what keeps things going, but I like #1. Thanks for sharing. Bee
Beautiful shots flyingcrown1!
