I do see these birds outside our home, Rene. We attracted at least 15 different species with a peanut butter mixture we put in a hanging log. Thanks so much.

These birds were all shot using the Canon 100-400. I shoot my birds in shutter priority (TV) mode with my shutter speed usually set on at least 400. Since I'm shooting mainly out a window, I set my ISO on at least 1,000 depending on the light outside the window. Any resulting noise is eliminated using Topaz DeNoise.

Dixie do you see these outside your home? Lots of different birds, great bunch! Thanks! :)

Can you shoot them out a window, Bedgmon? They wouldn't hear your footsteps :-D Thanks so much.

I am impressed! Great shots. I am unable to get within a 100 feet of my birds. I must have heavy footsteps. ;)

You are probably tired of reading comments by now. I wouldn't feel right to not say something. Beautiful. My New-Year goal is to get one pic that good.

Hi Larry, and thanks! Yes, I'm shooting through a glass window...a dirty glass window :-) And no, I have a monopod, but haven't really used it much. These were all hand held.
