There's been lots of debate here about guns, and how to stem the violence.
Guns for everyone
Guns for no one
Teachers with guns
Police in every school
None of these will work. But one thing will.
Swiss Guards in every school, mall, church, and any other public place.
Swiss Guards have been on duty for The Vatican and the Pope for over 700 years. Haven't lost a single Pope yet. And no one has crashed the Vatican with an assault weapon. And it's all because of the amazing uniforms they wear.
I mean, c'mon. Who would possibly want to hurt anyone in those great uniforms? I think anyone with evil intent would probably just walk away from a possible massacre without firing a shot and with a big grin on his face.

Maybe the idea is that the colours give you an instant headache and nausea, thus removing any murderous thoughts from your head.
Nice idea though (you've been quite a wellspring of ideas lately - not more insomnia, I hope).
