yep, I feel that pain!! I purchased my computer 3 years ago and just took a quick look to get more memory.. now 8 but should now have 16... unfortunately the mama boards are not backward comparable. Just do not want to afford 400 for parts at this time... and time for processing in Topaz is what is is about... I see that bar zoom across in the Webinars and slowly go across in my computer. Reality is that it wastes perhaps 5 minutes in a days work,, not that much really.

The thing I will regret most when the end approaches is that there are so many discoveries I will not get to see or hear about.... I do however know things that today's kids will not.. the soot black sky of the 40s,,, time not consumed by TV,,, having real responsibilities like putting coal in the furnace before everyone got up because now you were 10 years old. Lots of things gone today.

My Panasonic DMC ZS20 (TZ30) amazes me... so many things squeezed into a little pocket camera... what a change from the TZ3 I had!!

I want to thank every one for there input. I was unaware of of all processes that can be done to a picture, and impressed. The camera is a Nikon D40 with a Nikor 55-300mm lens. This picture was taken in RAW and was processed using ViewNX 2, for contrast and sharpness then converted to JPEG at max resolution. The bands are not visible in RAW but show up when converted to JPEG. The learning curve now is going to be in processing pictures. again Thanks
