I take it you did look at the link I sent you from B&H which showed you that the D7000 was under $1,000 now with a lens which is half of what you were trying to tell me they were at B&H for body only. I asked but you have not told me so I ask again... show me a link to where you were saying the D7000 cost all that money from B&H and your Canadian shops. The D90 when it came out was about the $1,200 $1,300 mark I believe, it was a good while ago so I can't remember. I do recall selling it for $750 though about a year and a half later.

It looks as though your dealers are ripping you off with the prices you are quoting. I'd buy from a US supplier if I were you. I can tell you that I was getting a better deal on lenses from a Toronto camera shop that advertised on ebay, than I was finding anywhere in the USA so you are able to get good pricing if you care to shop around in Canada and they had reasonable prices on camera bodies too.

I bought the first Tamron 18-270 from them, sold it and then bought the new Piezo Tamron 18-270mm which is now for sale because I've purchased the Nikon 28-300 VR FX lens.

JEEZ!!! PAY ATTENTION!!! You're looking at a for sale ad from three years ago. My $2500 '99 Monte Carlo used to sell for $21,000.
