Hi,

I'm selling a Nikon D7000. It has just under 12,500 clicks on it. Please make a trade or purchase offer.

I would prefer to do it on ebay/paypal, but i would like to avoid the sellers fees as well. I have a 100% feedback rating on ebay, and will give personal information to ensure a secure transaction.

I've gotten an offer for $750 on craigslist, and an offer for $500 and a d40/lens, but i'd rather sell to someone on here if it's more secure than craigs.

What kind of items are you interested in as far as a trade? As far as photography goes I have a D60 with the 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 70-300mm, 35mm and a 50 mm G lens and am looking to upgrade my camera. As a matter of fact, I was going to lay everything out today, take photos and put them on Ebay! The D60 takes great pics and was the ideal first DSLR for me to learn on. At first I thought I would get a D90 but the D7000's have come down in price and I have decided to get a D7000 instead. That is my dream camera. I would love to have one as I have only heard great reviews about them. The D90 has a great reputation too but now that they are pretty close in price I am going with the D7000. I have seen them used as low as $650.00 and then as much as $1000.00 but mostly between $700.00-$850.00 or so. I have had a Paypal account for 3-4 years and have deposited cash directly into other individuals personal checking accounts. I do not think you have to have a Paypal account to receive the money but I can't remember for sure. Money is a little tight for me because of Xmas right now but $750.00 sounds like a fair price but if I have something to trade that you would like to have, I sure would be happy to save the cash. Is it the camera body only with everything else that came in the box such as battery, charger, cables, manuals, software, etc.? Please let me know. Thank you.

Raden,

Which 70-300 model is it? If it's the new VR one, you have about:

18-55 - 100
55-200 - 150 realistically
70-300 - 80-450 based on version, condition
35mm - 180
50mm - 200

I would potentially be interested in a cash + Lens (50 or 70-300) kind of deal. Let me know

Something to thing about -- both sellers and purchasers.

Caveate :
Once nikon lenses or cameras are sold to one person, it is important to know that, regardless of how few shutter actuations or the age of camera
( even if just opened out of box ), -- Nikon has never transferred the warranty to a new owner from the original purchaser, on a private transaction that I am aware.

I shoot with all nikon equipment; and, have bought a refurbished camera from an authorized dealer and then the warranty is as bought new as recognized by nikon.

A new Body only D7000 can be bought from authorized nikon dealers for prices ranging from $829 ---> I would purchase new or refurbished before purchasing without a warranty, unless the price of the camera was exceptional for its condition.

I didn't even name a price, or advertise it with a warranty. I asked someone to make an offer. Easy research for anyone seriously considering a new or used 7000, or any camera for that matter. Why would you post this on my classified?

Hello, I'm sorry but I don't know your name other than Stef C. Is that how you prefer to be addressed? What I did yesterday that has put me in a bind is, when I missed the other D7000 mint condition camera for $750.00, I didn't think I would find another one so fast that I would trust buying and just this early morning, the very next day, I see yours!! I bought a D40 on Ebay about 5 years ago and when it arrived it would not even turn on. I finally received a full refund about 6 weeks later and that did it for me and Ebay. So, Instead of rushing into purchasing a camera, I decided to start upgrading my other photography goods and purchased a new Nikon 18-200 mm VR II lens just yesterday that I have been wanting since I knew they even existed. I do have the Nikon AFS Nikkor 70-300mm VR ED IF 1:4.5-5.6G that I rarely even remove from my camera because I live about as far back in the country as you can get surrounded by 7,000 acres of nothing but woods, river bottoms and cotton fields so about all I shoot is nature related most always. I also really want a Sigma 150-500mm lens for the birds, deer and numerous other wildlife around here but it won't be anytime soon. We still live on land that my Great-Great-Grandfather bought in the 1860's and they are all buried just down the road. I ride around the back roads in my Jeep with my dogs and usually shoot wildlife, landscapes, barns, etc. out of the window and the 70-300mm is great for that so it has become my main lens. But, I needed something wider also, so I bought the 18-200mm and there went the money I had for a camera. I did list some extra Jeep wheels on Craigs list today. I gave my neighbor about a mile of barb wire and he and maybe his friend are interested in my MTB rear tined tiller. Same tiller Walmart sells new for $638.00. Mine is about 5 years old and should sell for around $300-$350 unless I fire sell it to one of them. I don't want it. He is also interested in my large air compressor so I am going to load them onto my trailer either tonight or in the morning and carry to him. I also have a Remington 1100 12 ga shotgun that I may sell along with some other things. So, to answer your question, as of right now I have about $250.00 - $300.00 to spare but could have more than enough to purchase your D7000 soon but just don't know how soon with Xmas and all. My 50mm is the Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8D. I did decide to list all my lens on Craigs List and Ebay because I haven't even taken them out of the box in over a year. I just need to sell them for whatever they bring and I don't expect very much really. I have also decided to sell my D60 because whenever I do get another camera I won't use it and I would rather put the money towards purchasing a D7000.
So, I just thought I would ask if you were interested in working a deal like that or someway or another but you can probably sell your D7000 by tomorrow and I wouldn't blame you because you should. But let me know if you don't because I would still like to buy it from you. Thank you for your time and me rambling on and on.

Oh i see, well the 70-300 would be really the only one i'm interested in. I have the 50mm Af-d and 35mm g.

Why not sell the 50mmG for 100, the 55-200 for 125, the 18-55 for 100, the d60 for 100, then you'll have at least 425 + your current cash for a d7000. You still have the 18-200 and 70-300 and 35mm dx as well.

Yes, that is exactly my intentions but it would take me a few days at least to get everything sold. I forgot you said you may be interested in the 70-300mm. I would definitely trade or sell it also if it meant getting closer to the amount or possibly enough to purchase yours or another D7000. The 70-300mm is not nearly as expensive as the D7000 and I could replace it in a couple of months or so. I will probably use only the 18-200mm for awhile anyway because I think I will really like it. I just need the 300mm or actually something longer because it isn't enough for most of the wildlife I like to shoot. I also love Architecture, especially Antebellum, but also Victorian, Queen Anne, Federal, Craftman Bungalows, etc. and I would have fun photographing the numerous historic properties all located within an hour of me. I haven't done that since last summer and I used to restore historic properties for about 18 years as my living. That is also why I wanted the 18-200mm because it is a lot more versatile for that kind of stuff and most everything else and some of the other wide angle zooms are VERY expensive. For me anyway. Let me know if you are interested, I can send you some pics of it and yes, I have already decided to sell it on Ebay or Craig's List because I will have the new lens any day now. I have bought some items from Ebay but have never sold or listed anything. I need to read up and see what their rules, guidelines and fees are. Have you ever sold anything through them? I am also wanting a good Macro lens that I can afford. Do you know of any other than Nikon that you would recommend? Thank you so very much.

regarding the warranty, if you become friends with the seller then the seller would just send the camera back for the new owner, under their original name and that way the warranty would remain in force, should a problem arise while the warranty is still valid. I feel it is a con to void the warranty if you sell an item that still has the warranty current. A warranty should remain with the item and not with the owner. You will love the D7000, I have one and it is fantastic in low light and high ISO conditions and the Auto WB is excellent too, far better than my D300 or Fuji S5 PRO.
