Always nice to get the bus driver in the shot along the route (#5). (Love the map!)
Thanks Raymond. We sit up front when we can to get photos through the windshield in addition to those out of the side windows. The skill of the bus drivers is made more apparent when you drive around Italy, as the lanes are narrower than in the U.S., but the buses don't appear to be. We drove almost 3,000km last year around Italy in a rental car and the narrower lanes are noticeable, especially in towns and on the autostrada.
Beautiful set. Bari is on our agenda for next year.

Thanks rdemarco. I wish we could have seen more of Bari, so I hope you will post some on UHH. My paternal grandparents are from a small town about half-way between Salerno and Bari and we visited there and stayed with family I had never met in 1973. We would like to get back there in the future. There is so much to see in Italy, and we are hoping to get back there this year.

We have been to Italy three times, and are planning another Italy trip for 2025. This year we are going to England twice; once to see the Mets play the Phillies in London, and then in October to visit friends in Liverpool and travel to the southern coast of England.

Those sound like great travel plans. If we make it to Italy this year, it will be our 4th trip there, and almost certainly not our last. We're thinking about a loop via rental car from Amsterdam next year that would include Bruges, Paris, the Loire Valley, Munich and the Romantic Road, Spa Belgium and a few other places along the way. We would like to see more of England and visit Ireland (we haven't been there yet), but that would be in the future. I also want to take the Viking cruise from Buenos Aires to Santiago and their Alaskan cruise. Then there's Austraila and New Zealand to explore. We also go to Hawaii once or twice a year, almost always to Kauai, our favorite place in Hawaii.
So many places, so little time..............
