Good they abandoned before the water rose any higher! Nicely composed, interesting scene.

Since you and Jack were talking about canoes, I looked closer. They don't seem to be sitting in the water so much as on top. The closer one is in front of the foliage that should be in front of it Now, having pointed out these details, let me say I think realistic composites are extremely difficult to do and I admire your skill and dedication!

Linda, thanks for taking the time for your analysis. My thoughts on the canoe was one of decay the front canoe is being overtaken by the vegetation. And the other one I was also trying to show some decay.

Ugly, just as abandoned buildings should be.

Yup, over time with no maintenance, this what you get.

Thanks for elaborating. The one next to the house shows that nicely on one side. Wondering about a tilt into the water or more decay on front, or lower in the water (less showing in front)?

As you have sometimes said to me, "Be sure to show us the changes."

As per your request. I actually worked on both canoes.

Yeah, particularly the front canoe. I took some off the front to give the appearance of rot and showing more of the bushes in front of the canoe.
