This will cause consternation to some micro users.
Why caint I download the pics I took with this lens?

Should have been "lens circle of projection".
You just replaced one made up term nobody ever uses with another equally silly one.
Even your illustration calls it "Image Circle". That's the term everyone else uses.

You must have spoken to the janitor.

Was unaware of your ESL.
Ill try to remember that in future.

Those Nikon staff folks dont know what theyre talking about. Factory reps full of BS is a sadly loooooong historical "tradition".

But it makes sense 50 mm f1.4 on a crop sensor are you telling me its the equivalent of a 75.. f1.4? I don't think so and neither does anyone at Nikon

I understand your legit sarcasm. But the sad news is that manufacturers reps are often preloaded with info that they dont understand and will say some really stoopid things as a result. Its been that way for decades per my firsthand observation.
If the real janitor just happens to be a photo hobbyist, the janitor may well know better than the factory reps. No sarcasm in that :-(

If you say so you make the FX format GOD.

Anyone? You spoke to all of them?
Let me make a wild guess. Did the guy you spoke to have a thick foreign accent and did he introduce himself as john or Henry or some other unlikely name? If so, you were probably talking to someone taking calls in a boiler room or from his home on the outskirts of some 3rd world city where the pollution is so high he can't breathe the air in town.
You are probably better off listening to a UHH member, even if some of them are shy about their actual location or name.

Nikon is correct in that regard...
Crop factor includes...focal...aperture...and ISO as well.

Of course, you still have to be careful.

Does not mean you need to keep quiet, just correct me as needed.
