Thank you very much black mamba. I appreciate your fine comments. It was pretty amazing for me to watch. I am not exactly a city boy having grown up in NYS dairy country but my family was never closely involved in the farming/ranching process. This was my first time at seeing a birth like this. Pretty neat what God can do.

Thanks Dave. I do have my good moments when I think I can get a decent photo. In other matters I have no patience at all. When my friend asked me to come to SD to give him a hand I started thinking of what photos I might get. My first thought was to get a sharp photo of the head as it comes out. But I don't think that will happen. My friend is a great guy but tries to give the mamas all the privacy they need. While I don't disagree at all I would like that picture. Of course the cow has to cooperate too.
