Totally different (procedure) than I would have done, but that is the beauty of individual thought.
As for my reaction - good, but the stamen is lost, which I consider the "center" of the photograph. I often mix procedures in one picture.
Anyway my point is that you have created a picture that will spawn a number of attractive interpretations, if you like to do variations. I used to when I worked in a graphics department, planned it on company time, and used their physical (scrap) materials. People at work worked why I asked them to save the smaller pieces of film and proof material.
