Oh wow, thats so sad to hear. I had just watched a couple of interviews last week from 2023 that he gave and he said he was doing pretty good.

Sad... I was out for lunch with my wife on Monday and they had a speaker playing music over the outdoor seating. I heard a song that I liked but didn't recognize. I whipped out my phone to open Shazam and realized when I got a new phone recently I failed to add back that app, so I did a google search of what I thought the title might be according to what I was hearing; "I Should Have Been a Cowboy", which turned out to be his debut single. Then Tuesday morning I was reading the news about his death!

Everyone I met yesterday around Nashville was talking sadness ... Toby was gone ... seems everyone loved Toby. Even a cousin in Seabrook, TX sent me a very message about Toby. We will really miss the Patriot.
