One time, I had one of those nasty cholla cacti chase me a half hour through the desert trying to enfold me in a spiny embrace 😱😱😱😱😱

Being an experienced desert hiker, I believe you, Joe. The difference being that, in my case, they were more than trying, they were doing! And more than once!!
