The plate thing is totally weird. Once the plates are right side up, I simply cannot get them flipped over again! Most of these illusions/optical can be started over, but for some reason, with this one, I can't!

Ok, I went totally away for a minute and went back in and was able to see them upside down again. I couldn't do it as long as I was visually in contact with the illusion.

Balls in the first are always gray, green, and orange no matter what I do. Had to get a tape measure for the vans, but sure enough, both are 2 inches square. Haven't seen these before, thanks for posting!

Hmmm... Interesting.

Color blind people lack the photoreceptors for one of the three colors (RGB)

For the illusion to work you don't need the green receptor to see the green dot, everything happens in postprocess (brain + optical nerve)

I'd be interested to hear what a true color blind person actually sees. Anyone on the group?
