About half of what separates a successful photographer from their peers is who has a Canon.

Then why do you also shoot Sony? Why not 100% Canon?

By the way, last year I asked if you would post your excellent list of what expectations one should have for the upcoming year (a photographer's list of New Year's resolutions). I believe you said it would be too early to repeat. How about now since it is two years later? I thought your list was insightful and a good goal for everyone.

Your loyalty to them will never be returned, if it is not economically feasible.

Loyalty to the customer base has to be returned or they will lose their most valued customers. Once that happens, it is like a snowball rolling downhill, getting larger and larger, until most customers will find another manufacturer who will provide what they want or need. Large manufacturers and retail sellers spend a lot of money trying to understand the needs and wants of their customer base. Providing the needs and wants is a form of loyalty, whether it is improved customer service, same day shipping, no fee returns, ability to talk with a supervisor and not going through a voice mail tree.

In this case the troll is much more interesting than the thread subject.

It was for more than any one reason, as he explains.

Or maybe he is just a thoughtful independent professional who finds his photographic needs were best served by another brand, duh.

Forget the conspiracy theories, LOL, and learn to accept the facts and people's word for their decisions. You would want no less for yourself.

Cheers and best to you
Possible but I'm skeptical due to various clues that have been pointed out here.

Typed…like a true troll. I’ve often wondered why you do it…you’re clearly a smart guy and give great advice or answers when you’re not just trying to amuse yourself.
He likes to kid around and he definitely got you riled up.
