I applaud everyone's efforts but I remain unconvinced and will continue using my dedicated imaging device...the camera.

Old days?? Who is discussing old days?

I hope your real camera is capable of 1/32000 to be considered as full manual.

That's current. In the near future it will be higher. The Sony A9 III will soon be available and you would have to up to 1/80,000. You don't want to talk about the old days where all things were totally manual. But for the moment your camera needs to have 1/32000 shutter speed. You will have to upgrade later.

Something I would doubt anyone has mentioned (no, I did not read all 10 pages). After shooting Nikon's best I will then quickly, no focus time take an image with my smart phone. Why? It captures the exact location that can be time matched to image. No, I do not use Snapbridge. Also I like another view of the colors for post processing.

That's because I don't look back. I'm always looking forward. My STEAM camera (Serial Time-Encoded Amplified iMaging) is capable of shooting at 440 trillionths of a second.

And you have no obligation to do so. Enjoy shooting with whatever equipment you prefer as I do
