I still say you are fortunate to have access to those historical photos, and add to that the written records.

That story about Etta's unintended pistol discharge gave me a bit of heebie geebies, as it brought back to mind a time five or six friends and I were out doing some target shooting.

Absolutely no alcohol nor drugs were even remotely involved. Just a moment of inattentive negligence that sent a bullet whizzing right past my head...fired from about four feet away.

The older teen girl who did the negligent discharge did not go into a lfetime of depression, fortunately, but I have no doubt she would have if I'd been hit. She was very, very shaken up for a couple or three days, as it was.

Huber is recently in the new world from Switzerland then Mexico then USA and until last half of 20th century actually started spreading out of AZ.
I am not related to most Hubers in the USA.

If you enter Raphael Lillywhite in google and after the page comes up, go up to images and enter that. You will see a whole page and more of thumb nails of his art work (excellent to my way of thinking) and also several other images including quite a few of him and also of his grave marker. I found it to be a very interesting browse.

I did that when researching why my great grandfather's friend would be named after Raphael.
Quite the artist. Thx for bringing it to my attention. I am working on finding the Lillywhites of Mexico. I know that there are some as my dad before he died mentioned some in Mesa AZ I believe. Then I can get them some photos and stories.

Yes, genealogy is really fun when actually finding stories, journals. and photos.
I found that the Holladay line has Ben Holladay in it who has Wells Fargo as being the founder of it as it evolved from the Overland Stage. Then 2.great great Huber uncles who were stage coach obbers. Holladay bourbon is still being made today.
Yep, genealogy is fun and the photos and scanning bring these people to life.
