"You turned a documentary image into art" DAP did most of the work, I just took the photo and tweaked it a bit before DAP and a bit after DAP was finished.

Reading about the lives of some of those impressionist painters, I'd say the times were not always so gentle. Your scene, however very aptly portrays what you describe. It's lovely and a really good image that does make me think of the impressionists. Well done.
