Beautiful image construction diagonal read, light-dark balance, and blur of moving water vs solid stationary textured rocks.

Pleased you joined us, Rakau, and delighted to hear you're rekindling your interest in the joyful hobby of photography. IMO playing with processing is a big part of fun 
I confess I prefer the foreground of your original shared in Long-Exposure:

That's because, for me, the blue water is the more interesting and mysterious. The black areas add a great deal to the mood.

I agree with Linda that more of the action gushing blue water is an active element. But I agree with the horizontal flip so that the read was from left to right.
