My Sony A1, it just excels at everything a working professional needs to have, more so than all the Nikon, Canon and Leicas I have loved and owned in the past, just a fact.
Cheers and best to you.
Not fact.
Just a biased personal opinion.
Other people have different opinions of that camera vs others.

It is a fact for me after 50 years as a pro using all the best gear, and that is what was asked for everyone, dude.
Leave your rabid Canon fanboyism for your own answer. LOL
Canon does NOT rule the answers in this discussion, even if it seems to rules all your comments in UHH, all the time, LOL
And FYI, my second choice would be my 35mm film Canon F1 which I used to cover the War in Nicaragua, helping me win numerous National and International Photo Awards for my coverage that helped end that bloody war.
Cheers and best to you.

Your opinion doesn't make anything a fact.
Just a figment of your overactive imagination.
50 years of fantasy still doesn't make anything subjective a fact.
I am sure that many other brand users will agree with me regarding this subject.
I just like my Canon 5D. Had it forever, bought it shortly after it came out. Harry

Probably the smallest m4/3 with an EVF.

WOW, that is amazingly small.
Thx for sharing.

Tell me a bit more about the 43-86mm.
I have wondered why that would be a favorite? Size, focal length, operability? Thank you in advance for helping.

Keep living your fantasies. Most folks here are not as brand-obsessed as you are to ignore others factual experiences, based on decades of their real-world use.
You dont get to decide what is factual for others, and you will never get to decide that for others, just a fact.
Most folks here just ignore you when you spout off your nonsense ,and dont take you seriously then.
Cheers

I think there’s a disconnect here. I think he’s reading your experience as saying it’s a fact that Sony is better for everyone. I read it as you saying it’s fact that Sony works best for you. Because saying it’s best for everyone would certainly be an opinion.

You know, I see this from you all the time. This obsession with being a pro. Okay, I'm happy for you, there, did we get that covered?
But what does that have to do with what you or I or anyone else thinks is their favorite "just because I like using it" camera???
I have been a photographer for more than 50 years. 35mm and medium format film. Polaroid and instamatic. Basic low MP digital to Full Frame Nikons. Underwater to mountain climbing. Jungles to sand as far as the eye can see. Water for longer than anyone can see using a telescope! Aircraft to wildlife to landscape. I think that qualifies me to express my opinion about the cameras that I have most loved to use. And I have never sold a photo in my life. I shoot for me!
I'm a Pro too! A professional military man, in Naval Aviation for more than 20 years, retired thank you very much!
I suggest that you take your "Pro" status and...

Youve nailed it pretty solid.
As a career photographer that 3-letter term always lights up my BS-o-meter. It has no street cred and labels the user as a poseur.
Within my earshot, not a single one of my peers has ever self identified by that bogus title. Its really just pure wannabe jargon.

Compare Ed Shapiros vocabulary to that of Gwilliams. Its cred vs no cred. Ed posts are about photography but Gwilliams posts are about "Gwilliam worldwide award blah blah blah .... " Less than zero cred. GMAFB.
My most used go to cameras is my 2 old Canon g16s. Next would be the M50. That's out of about 9 cameras I still have.
