The true worth of a woman is not her "classic beauty" it is practical things, does she give you loving attention when the lights go very low after a sip or two or three or fore of wine with soft music? Does she cook your favorite meal, and with my "lovely widow," was she a great investor in insurance before her husband mysteriously died? I have learned to see her inner beauty.

Dpullum, I read the link that referred to her as "the ugliest woman in the world" and her career in the sideshow circus. That was then and this is now for I've seen many a man in today's world who would surely classify as the Ugliest Woman in the World. TikTok is full of their videos.

veralisa, thank you for looking... yes many sad stories and still are. After retiring from industry, I taught 9th-grade science and math with a specialty in Special Education. I did not get involved with the "Profoundly Impaired" group only with the learning impaired. The "profounds" were sad examples many as a result of alcoholic or drug-addicted moms others just nature has gone array. I had 25 children each year to help learn and cope with interactions; quite a task being a parent to 25... ! I was a caring and responsible best friend to each... 16 years have passed and I still remember my 75 children.

Circuses and Carnivals in the 1950s were great...There were sword swallowers and flame eaters and all that great stuff. My dad was a telegraphed and his stitching area accommodated the Barnium Baley Circus and he got free tickets center ring down front for our family. It was an unforgettable experience. Ladeeeeees and GenteLLLLLmen The hi wire death-defying act by... etc.
In Florida there is B&B Museum I attended with a Sr group [they went one way me another] and will show some of the shots in this section...they were taken with art in mind.
