A colorful Leaf (spoiler alert: cat)

Some of you may remember Leaf, who showed up in my yard five Thanksgivings ago as a kitten the size of a large molecule. Even then I thought she was the prettiest feline I'd ever met, and my opinion hasn't varied. Here she is, then and now.

LOL!!! My neighbor's cat, Max, doesn't appreciate my "displays of affection" either but every now and then I sneak one in on him.

Gotta be careful, but all Leaf does is mimic a very displeased Great Horned Owl. She doesn't bite or swat or scratch.

Hey, SW, Leaf reminds me of our cat, Blossom, who sadly is no longer with us, but was a flower in our lives. I like Leaf's horizontal leg bands and her cute ear tufts. I am sending her some "head nookers" which is a gentle head massage with your first knuckles.

I'll ask how she liked the head nookers but I'm sure she liked them (though she's terrified of men). I'm sorry about Blossom. Was she with you a long time?
