I'm back at bears again. It was interesting how the first 2 days at Brooks Falls there were so few fish that when one was caught there were several bears on hand to ask for handouts. Then after the salmon ran over night and many of the bears were off sleeping with full bellies the bears would only eat the parts they wanted and let the gulls and other scavengers have the rest. Or the fish parts just floated down stream.

This is a favorite as I like the 3 bears with the middle one being successful in getting the fish and the others noses are practically touching the fish!

This is fierce mama as I called her, she was one of the best at catching fish and her cub and niece who she was also taking care of were all to happy to enjoy the catch!

One mama duck did not have that many chicks. I've watched them behind my house for years. Like humans, on or two pair of adults will watch many family of chicks while other pairs stretch their wings or do what ever. Kind of a duchy day care.
