Do you think that putting a "Whoopy Cushion" on an electric chair is funny?
If you do then you have an English sense of humour. To what degree depends on how funny you found it..

black humour for all the right reasons; you ate probably a nurse or a firefighter, they tend to do that, else they'd go nuts.

Have to admit, I love Mr. Bean and Benny Hill reruns.
let 'em go with a smile
Fully English
Strange that. I can't stand Mr. Bean - the format seems to me to be remarkably similar to that of Jacques Tati / Monsieur Hulot in the late 1930's / 1940's films such as "M. Hulot's Holiday" and others. They were original masterpieces whereas Mr. Bean is simply vacuous and leaning towards plagiarism..
Benny Hill - well, - like the curate's egg - maybe good in parts but he relied too much on smut for his laughs. My old Mother used to say "He's too soft to laugh at". I think she had a point.
Strange - they're both English and we Brits normally appreciate slightly more sophisticated humour.
(Why does the UHH site keep trying to tell me how to spell English words such as "humour"?)

Being Canadian ,we grew up with British Humour on the tele. Been a big fan for yrs. Monty Python,Faulty Towers, Are You Being Served etc. etc. Great job
I used to go to 'art theaters' to see the Alec Guiness comedys. My favorite- 'The Horse's Mouth' . FUNNY in a British sort of way!!
I'd have given that one 3-1/2 moticons, but they don't do halves.
