So wish I'd been able to take part in the last few days but I was spending time trying to get used to and understanding my new camera. Since I haven't had the time to comment on the many splendid posts on this challenge let my say this...
Karin, thanks. It's been a wonderful challenge and your posts have been fantastic!!! I've learned a lot, as I know little of effects and have found it interesting and educational to see the things you've all done. Just to summarize...Karin's creative sets, Tony's Chihuly, sxrich's last posts, double exposures, Bill's prisms, swirls, Larry's variety, and Judy's moving shots are just a few.
These are all photos taken while I've been trying to figure out my camera. First one, just a result of low shutter speed. Others are in camera effects when I didn't realize exactly what I was doing.
So wish I'd been able to take part in the last few... (show quote)

Lee, very surreal, but a beautiful set.

First and the third are my favorites. Keep shooting "wild."

The first shot was taken from an atrium elevator on board the cruise ship we were taking around the Hawaiian islands. I used the rail in the elevator as a support and kept the shutter open for the duration of the ascent. The second was at Santa Monica. Between me and the pier was only sand. The shot was a combination of several: What the shot sees is the addition of sunset on the water taken earlier in the day from the other side of the pier, water below the pier taken from the shoreline, the motion of the ferris wheel from a different and longer exposure and of course a shot of the moon to balance things out.

A few for Saturday. I work mostly with layers and textures. Excuse the "dump" as I'll be gone most of today and tomorrow....

Wow, more great combinations.

I think these will always be favorites. They are not perfection but the represent a monumental learning curve for me.

Certainly a fantastic group that must have taken a lot of work.

One more group to offer. These seem pretty mundane compared to some of the other posts from recent days, but I enjoyed putting them together, or photographing some odd places.

The waves in the first one made me seasick 🤢🤢🤢, but I'm okay now thanks to the beautiful mountain/moon shot - and the rest are entertaining as well ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
